Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz has been linked with a switch to Leeds United this summer, with the Whites shopping in the Premier League markets.
It’s paramount that Leeds United have a focal point to spearhead their attack in the Premier League, as they need goals but also to have a player who is capable of pinning, pressing, and leading the line.
| Team | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Flamengo | 32 | 10 | 1 |
| Coritiba (loan) | 6 | 1 | 0 |
| Fulham | 97 | 26 | 3 |
| Middlesbrough (loan) | 17 | 2 | 0 |
A name appearing on the radar of Daniel Farke and the 49ers this week is that of Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz. However, Fulham have set a £50 million price tag on Muniz’s signature.

Rodrigo Muniz set for Fulham contract talks amid interest from Leeds
Muniz even does one thing better than Erling Haaland, but his profile of centre-forward appears to be exactly what Leeds need, even if it looks likely that they are priced out of signing the 24-year-old.
One pundit has previously offered a glowing review of the Fulham attacker, with Alan Shearer stating Muniz is ‘horrible’ to play against, and Farke could be keen to add the striker’s energy and intensity.
That said, Leeds look likely to be unable to complete a transfer due to Muniz’s price tag. Not only are they being priced out but the striker could also sign a new deal at Craven Cottage.
He is now into the final year of his deal with the Cottagers, but Dean Jones of Give Me Sport reports that they plan to keep him and may even offer improved terms on his contract imminently.
Fulham fans think Muniz is staying and they have mocked Leeds’ efforts to sign the player. Those comments make more sense since the price tag reveal, with Leeds unlikely to part ways with such a huge portion of their summer transfer budget.

Leeds United will have Rodrigo Muniz alternatives in mind
Everton striker Beto and Norwich’s Josh Sargent have emerged as options for Leeds recently, who will have to turn to other options to lead the line this summer.
Instead, Leeds should sign Ermedin Demirovic of VfB Stuttgart, given that he is available after just one season with the Bundesliga outfit.
Each aforementioned striker fits the bill in profile terms, which is why Leeds are evidently looking in the right places for a new number nine.
They need to link play and run the channels, which Demirovic does. The Bosnian also has a clinical edge and is in his prime years at the age of 27.
Leeds need a centre-forward desperately, but one who is preferably affordable and available this summer; Demirovic ticks every box for the Whites.
