Leeds United may have to look elsewhere for Manor Solomon replacements after the latest reveal on his Spurs future.
Manor Solomon helped Leeds United to win the title and return to the Premier League, with Daniel Farke’s side benefitting from the Spurs winger’s loan spell.
Solomon had an excellent season, particularly during the run-in. However, there are no guarantees that Leeds will be able to make Solomon permanent in the summer transfer window.
It’s also likely that Solomon has interest away from just Leeds and could move elsewhere in the market. However, both the 25-year-old and Spurs will want a swift resolution to his future.

Leeds United should eye Paixao and others over Manor Solomon this summer
Spurs fans have urged Daniel Levy to keep Solomon after his magnificent exploits with Leeds during the 2024/25 campaign as well, and it looks like they will get their way.
On Friday, it was revealed Spurs made a final decision on Solomon and that he is set to remain with the club during pre-season at least — and possibly beyond.
Based on that, we have taken a look at three options Leeds should turn to — with some of the wingers arguably better for Leeds’ Premier League needs.

1) Igor Paixao
In terms of looking at a like-for-like profile, Leeds have been linked to Igor Paixao already. Leeds must overcome complications to secure the Feyenoord winger and he could be as much as £34 million
Marseille are keen on Paixao and Mikel Arteta is also thought to be keen on Arsenal signing Paixao. It makes a deal harder given the quality of competition Leeds are dealing with.
However, the comparisons to Solomon are obvious in a positional sense, while Paixao is also similar to Raphinha as a Brazilian winger but also in terms of what he represents.
He would be a real statement signing for the club, much like Raphinha’s arrival after their last promotion. The 24-year-old is arguably a tier or two above Solomon’s level and ready to make that Premier League step.

2) Dodi Lukebakio
If Leeds look to retool their attack somewhat, including a different profile of wide attacker, then they need look no further than Dodi Lukebakio of Sevilla.
A signing Victor Orta made back in 2023, Leeds should be looking at Lukebakio. The Belgian winger has gone on to become one of the La Liga outfit’s best players and most potent attacking threats.
Not only does he have reliable output, but Lukebakio has the height, size, and athleticism to be a fantastic outlet for any team who need to relieve pressure in a relegation scrap. The 27-year-old is in his prime years and would be an excellent addition out wide.
Crucially, that is while also being of the required quality to make an impact via goals and assists as well. He is arguably Sevilla’s prized asset currently and Lukebakio would be perfect for Leeds’ starting lineup in 2025/26.

3) Dan Ndoye
Finally, and arguably the most expensive and optimistic player on the list, is Bologna’s Dan Ndoye. Like Lukebakio, he brings something other wingers at Leeds lack in terms of his ability to hold the ball up and retain it.
That is due to the fact none of Leeds’ other wide profiles can retain the ball with their back to goal simply by being tall and powerful. It’s important to have a balance of profiles in a squad and Ndoye would bring something new to the side.
A number of players have been linked to Leeds already, but not enough can help Leeds get up the pitch and out of trouble as attacking outlets. Ndoye could be an outlet to get them out of dangerous moments and up the other end quickly to sustain attacks.
At least two of their forwards should help to get Leeds out of trouble in transition or to relieve pressure by holding the ball up against smaller or less dominant full-backs. The Swiss ace would be expensive but he has the quality and physicality required.
