Daniel Farke continues to say that Leeds United are expecting a quiet window in terms of incoming signings and that has not changed despite the club’s rivals making early additions this month.
Sheffield United are in desperate need of new signings with Chris Wilder’s men suffering way more than their fair share of injuries. They are said to be closing in on Ben Brereton Diaz and Hamza Choudhury.
Burnley have also made two additions in Oliver Sonne and Turf Moor favourite Ashley Barnes, who joins on a six-month deal from Norwich. Leeds fans are concerned by Sunderland’s move to sign Enzo Le Fee.
Leeds though, don’t look as if they are going to make any new signings as things stand. That is despite Joe Gelhardt set to go on loan to Hull and midfielder Charlie Crew set to follow Gelhardt out on loan.

With Gelhardt going and Patrick Bamford now interesting Blackburn as John Eustace looks to raid Leeds for the one-time England striker, Leeds could themselves do with a new striker in the coming weeks.
Daniel Farke has actually hinted at keeping an eye on the market for a new striker. Well, one option may be on the market with Sheffield United and Sunderland eyeing Leicester’s Tom Cannon, as per Alan Nixon.
Cannon’s loan at Stoke City has a break clause active until Wednesday and interest from some bigger Championship sides might just tempt Cannon to break his current loan before leaving Leicester again.
Daniel Farke considered Tom Cannon before Joel Piroe signing
In Daniel Farke’s first summer, the club committed to a £16m deal to sign Joel Piroe. The Dutchman went on to have a solid-ish first season, followed by an improved second campaign at Elland Road this term.
He has had a hand in 15 goals and assists, but Cannon has actually scored more this season – netting 11 to Piroe’s 10. That included Cannon scoring four times in one game, a 6-1 win against Portsmouth.
Leeds actually considered signing Cannon from Everton before Leicester swooped and Leeds chose to pursue Piroe. Now, he could be set to join a rival club in the race for Championship promotion this term.
