Words are beginning to be put into action from the 49ers, as Leeds United are moving quickly.
After a few quiet weeks of the summer, Leeds have blown the gates of the transfer window wide open.
This was after the signing of free agent Lukas Nmecha, as Daniel Farke will now look to build from here.
Vincent Kompany is an admirer of Nmecha, as the striker does have strong signs of being a success at Elland Road.
But with one signing in, to balance out PSR, players will have to leave, and one player is being watched by Wrexham with a close eye.
Wrexham want Leeds United striker Joe Gelhardt this summer
There have already been players shown the exit door this summer, with Josuha Guilavogui’s time at Leeds coming to an end.
The same is expected for Max Wober who has been asked to leave, and Junior Firpo looks set to join Betis.
It appears that the 49ers are working efficiently with both ins and outs, as Joe Gelhardt is also looking likely to leave Yorkshire.
TEAMtalk are reporting the latest on the Leeds youngster as newly-promoted Championship side Wrexham want the 23-year-old.
Previously, it’s been said Wrexham want Patrick Bamford, but it seems as though Gelhardt looks the more plausible out of the two.
The Whites are ready to sell Gelhardt this summer despite a successful loan spell at Hull City, and a key factor in the deal is that by moving to Wrexham, he remains close to his home city of Liverpool.

How much Leeds will get from Gelhardt in Wrexham deal
It could be a departure that brings regret, as Leeds’ selling exciting young players previously has come back to bite them.
This comes after Charlie Cresswell’s sale was described as ‘madness’ as Gelhardt didn’t exactly perform badly at Hull.
Nevertheless, it looks as though the striker is leaving Farke’s side this season, and with Wrexham now emerging as ideal suitors, a transfer fee between £3-4m would suffice for the 49ers.
The 49ers will have to tread carefully if Gelhardt is sold though, as fans might expect more for someone of his promise.
