Leeds United are being linked with a surprise move to sign Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath before the deadline on February 3 and have now been told how much he will cost.
The Whites could well be in the market for a new striker. Leeds fans feel the club needs a new attacker given Mateo Joseph has scored just two goals and Joel Piroe often goes missing when leading the line.
Piroe however, has had a hand in 15 goals so far – scoring 10 and laying on five assists. Patrick Bamford meanwhile, is currently injured and Joe Gelhardt looks set to go on loan with Hull leading the charge.
LeedsUnited.News revealed in the last few days that Leeds are showing interest in Middlesbrough star Emmanuel Latte Lath, who has scored 26 goals in 56 Championship games since joining Middlesbrough.

Leeds now told how much Middlesbrough want for Latte Lath
The 26-year-old is not the only striker on Leeds’ radar. Aston Villa have recalled Louie Barry from his loan at Stockport and Leeds are interested in him, though face competition from the likes of Sheffield United.
Meanwhile, Israel striker Dor Turgeman remains an option for Leeds while this week, Hoffenheim striker Mergim Berisha has been linked. Berisha has changed agents as the Germany international eyes a move.
Now, Give Me Sport say how much Leeds will have to spend to sign “clinical” Boro star Latte Lath. The Teesside club want a fee of £15m for the former Atalanta and St. Gallen striker over the next few weeks.

What Michael Carrick has said about Latte Lath’s future
Just before Christmas, Middlesbrough manager Carrick was asked about a possible move for Latte Lath and the rumours circling the striker. He made it clear that he wants to keep his best players at the club.
As per BBC Sport, Carrick said he wants to finish the January window stronger than going into it: “There’s always decisions to be made and that’s sometimes for different reasons but we’re happy with the squad.
“We want to come out of January as strong, if not stronger than when we are going into it – and we’ll do everything we can to do that,” he added. Latte Lath has a contract at Middlesbrough until June 2027.
