Leeds United have signed Lukas Nmecha and are closing in on Jaka Bijol as their second summer signing ahead of the Premier League.
The reality is that Leeds United need far more investment and fresh faces if they are to survive relegation back to the Championship under Daniel Farke.
The 49ers are getting busier and more deals appear to be in the pipeline following the reveal from Fabrizio Romano that Leeds have agreed a fee for Bijol.
There is more movement expected imminently and Leeds are active in talks for a number of players, including Habib Diarra and Rodrigo Muniz.

Habib Diarra and Rodrigo Muniz are Leeds’ next targets after Jaka Bijol
With Leeds linked to a number of strikers right now, they need to push the button on whichever player is most vital, with one such option being Muniz.
It’s been confirmed that Leeds are interested in signing Muniz this summer but there have also been claims that Fulham want as much as £50 million for Muniz.
Fulham fans are certain Muniz won’t leave the club in the current transfer window but talk of interest won’t go away from Leeds.
In the same way that there are hopes that Diarra’s move to Leeds is imminent amid claims Strasbourg have signed Diarra’s replacement, Muniz is being touted as the next signing Leeds will push for after Bijol’s confirmation.
The most recent update comes via Rob Dorsett of Sky Sports, who implies Leeds’ next moves could be to step up their efforts for Muniz and Diarra to join Nmecha and Bijol.
A bid of around £21.3 million is reportedly in for Diarra but the move is not in any way imminent compared to how close Leeds are to wrapping up Bijol.

What stage is Jaka Bijol’s deal with Leeds at?
Leeds are set to have Bijol’s deal rubber-stamped as the player flies to England following the conclusion of his wedding celebrations over the weekend.
Bijol’s entourage are flying to Leeds to hold further discussions and his medical is the next step for the player at Thorp Arch.
It’s thought that Bijol has already agreed terms with Leeds on a contract until 2029. Following medical tests, there will be very little left to do.
Bijol will have to choose a new shirt number to wear at Leeds but the Whites are set to land their top defensive transfer target ahead of the new season.
