Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on Manor Solomon, Mateo Joseph, and a Charlie Cresswell windfall.

The transfer window is well underway now and Leeds United are continuing their momentum in the market as more concrete transfer news is emerging with every passing day of the window.

A busy summer is expected at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad far from ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League.

Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, and Sebastiaan Bornauw all became Leeds players in recent weeks, meaning they have three new additions thus far but far more is to come.

In the meantime, with vital months ahead for Farke, the 49ers, and Leeds’ recruitment team, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Manor Solomon could still make Leeds switch from Spurs

Manor Solomon has informed Tottenham he wants a second chance at Tottenham Hotspur, with Thomas Frank keen to take a look at Solomon before making a decision on the former Fulham winger.

Initial reports suggested that a fee between £15 million and £20 million would sign Solomon. Spurs signed Solomon for nothing, so any fee received would represent pure PSR profit for Daniel Levy’s side.

The latest from TEAMtalk states that Leeds remain interested in signing Solomon permanently, but that they will continue to be patient and wait for Spurs to make their decision on the winger, despite Leeds’ announcement of his loan ending this week.

Charlie Cresswell’s sell-on clause could land Leeds some cash

Charlie Cresswell had a ‘dream’ of playing for Leeds but Farke didn’t fancy him for most of the first campaign in charge of the club.

In spite of that we recently saw Cresswell thank Leeds for their development of him, even if he has since been developed far more in Ligue 1. Now, Toulouse want as much as £18 million for Cresswell.

The latest is that West Ham are now interested in Cresswell and Leeds’ 15% sell-on could see them come into some extra cash this summer to help boost their transfer kitty.

Leeds striker Mateo Joseph wants La Liga move this summer

Real Betis reportedly offered £10 million for Mateo Joseph in January. However, Betis want a Joseph deal worth £6.75 million in more recent reports.

It’s been said that Betis are planning for Leeds and Joseph talks this month following the conclusion of the U-21 European Championships in Slovakia.

The latest states that Joseph wants to move to Spain to further his career and increase his chances of making the step up to the senior international side as soon as possible, according to Graeme Bailey.
