Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including Dilane Bakwa updates, James Justin developments, and the PSR details of Charlie Cresswell’s potential exit.
The transfer window has just eight days remaining for the 49ers and Leeds United, who are running out of time as they look for players in the market and as more transfer news emerges to add to their nine summer signings.
A busy end to the summer still lies ahead at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad getting closer to completion but also needing to be trimmed via exits as well.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol, Sebastiaan Bornauw, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sean Longstaff, Anton Stach, Lucas Perri, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and Noah Okafor have all bolstered Leeds’ ranks in recent months, meaning they have made plenty of progress but more are still to follow.
In the meantime, with vital days ahead for the recruitment team and with Farke’s team headed to The Emirates to face Arsenal, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

The PSR headroom Charlie Cresswell’s transfer could create
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Charlie Cresswell can leave Toulouse in recent months of the window. Liverpool are also keeping tabs on Cresswell’s development after his Ligue 1 antics last term.
It’s now reported by David Ornstein that Borussia Dortmund are bidding for Cresswell. They have been knocked back during their first approach but they intend to go back in.
It’s previously been reported that Toulouse want as much as £18 million for Cresswell. That could benefit his former side as Cresswell’s exit is a potentially huge PSR win for Leeds, which our football finance expert has explained.

James Justin and James Hill developments emerge
Leeds United News revealed exclusively that James Justin is on Leeds’ radar and it’s since been claimed that Justin and Leeds are closing in on an agreement.
Our reveal is that Justin’s mentality is to become a Leeds starter as well but then Justin was struck by injury for Leicester. Even if, since then, it is simply a dead leg for Justin, as confirmed by Marti Cifuentes.
During the wait for an injury update, it was revealed that Leeds are interested in signing James Hill from AFC Bournemouth. Bournemouth fans don’t want to lose Hill, with the 23-year-old also versatile, like Justin.
It will be either Justin or Hill for Leeds, with the latter seen as the alternative to the former. The latest regarding Justin and Leeds also offers the Whites hope in signing him imminently.

Dilane Bakwa transfer tussle between Leeds and Nottingham Forest
Daniel Farke wants a hybrid playmaker No.10 or winger profile in his squad. One such creative winger option for Leeds could be RC Strasbourg’s Dilane Bakwa.
Since the first links emerged, Beren Cross has continued to link Bakwa with Leeds. However, Nottingham Forest had a £26 million bid for Bakwa rejected recently.
There was talk that Forest were set to sign Bakwa for £28 million, but that hasn’t materialised. Instead, Leeds are stepping up their Bakwa efforts ahead of the transfer deadline.
