Leeds have renewed Rodrigo Muniz hope
It’s previously been stated that a club-record fee from Leeds is required to sign Muniz this summer. More recently, it’s been reported that Leeds are readying a second Muniz bid after an initial £32 million package was rejected.
Fulham have been planning for life post-Muniz for a while now, with Leeds’ interest simply not going away. The Whites need to act swiftly as they face stiff competition with Tottenham Hotspur reportedly in for Muniz as well.
Leeds believe they will strike a deal with Fulham for Muniz, with Graham Smyth explaining patience is needed. It’s not the first time this summer that they have had to take their time to secure a signing.

Sean Longstaff agreement struck with Leeds for £15 million
There has been belief that Sean Longstaff may not be available after latest bid was rejected. The Whites had tabled an offer worth a total of £12 million for Newcastle midfielder Longstaff, which included around £2 million in add-ons on top of the initial fee.
Reports of Newcastle wanting closer to £20 million for Longstaff meant a compromise was going to have to be found, in order for them to bring in the cash for their academy product. However, the deal was placed on hold after Newcastle rejected a third bid.
In spite of that, there were claims that a Longstaff exit would become more likely as the window progressed and Newcastle became more open to a cheaper deal. The latest is that it will now cost Leeds £15 million for Longstaff including add-ons, per David Ornstein.

Christantus Uche skips training as Leeds interest remains
It’s been stated that Leeds are willing to activate Christantus Uche’s £21 million clause, but with Brighton also being linked to the Nigerian attacking midfielder.
Reports later on in the window then claimed that Leeds had intensified talks with Getafe for Uche, and got further along than other interested duo Atletico Madrid and Newcastle.
Uche’s agent has talked up a summer transfer for the Nigerian international, but nothing concrete has materialised until the most recent update. That’s because Leeds target Uche has missed Getafe training amid fresh interest from the Whites, Wolves, and Brighton.
