Leeds United have a difficult situation to deal with amid bringing in transfers, as Mateo Joseph’s future has to be sorted.

Daniel Farke and Joseph seemed to have locked horns in recent days as the striker is proving to be unhelpful.

The Leeds striker did not travel to the Whites’ training camp as Joseph seeks a move, and it has not left Farke too happy.

Joseph has backtracked on ‘dream’ scenario at Leeds

With the striker only looking at one way regarding his future, it is quite surprising that Leeds are willing to give him another chance due to a loan spell.

If Betis submit a £13m bid like they’ve asked, surely this is a no-brainer to accept after Joseph’s lack of minutes last season, and not showing too much for Farke to incorporate him in the starting lineup.

But what’s even clearer is that the Spaniard hasn’t really shown his desire to stay in the squad despite what he’s said previously.

Joseph said it’s a ‘dream’ to play for Leeds even if he isn’t a regular in the squad, which questions why he’s acting this way now.

The striker feels he warrants that starting position, and Leeds don’t want to lose him in what is looking like a tricky saga to solve.
