Leeds United appear to be a busy bunch heading into the transfer deadline, with names being floated around left, right and centre.
With a large chunk of the Championship season still to play there could be many twists and turns, which is why the last few days of this window could be vital.
Daniel Farke has done a brilliant job to get Leeds United to where they are today, but the work is not done with five signings being eyed by the 49ers.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |
| 1 | 29 | 17 | 9 | 3 | 53 | 19 | 34 | 60 | |
| 2 | 29 | 18 | 6 | 5 | 40 | 21 | 19 | 58 | |
| 3 | 29 | 15 | 12 | 2 | 36 | 9 | 27 | 57 | |
| 4 | 29 | 15 | 10 | 4 | 42 | 24 | 18 | 55 |
One position that is clearly being pursued is a striker, with Cameron Archer the subject of a bid from Leeds United in recent days.
However, it seems as if a centre-back remains on the radar too, as a possible Daniel Farke reunion could be on the cards at Elland Road.
Leeds United remain interested in signing Nico Elvedi
A centre-back is one of the positions listed for Leeds to make a move for this month, but there haven’t been too many concrete links in recent times.
Ben Davies from Tottenham has been floated around, but the Premier League club have an injury crisis so that one looks very unlikely to happen.

According to TeamTALK, Nico Elvedi is another long-term target for Leeds and he remains on their radar.
However, it’s stated that his preference is to wait until the summer and could be available for £8m-10m then, with a January move seen as difficult.
A centre-back desperately needed at Leeds United
Daniel Farke currently only has three recognised centre-backs at his disposal, in the form of Joe Rodon, Pascal Struijk and Maximilian Wober.
However, Ethan Ampadu has also played there in recent weeks due to an injury to Struijk.
The fact that Leeds are eyeing a move for Elvedi shows it’s clearly an area they want to strengthen, but he may just be the wrong man as he seems to have his sights set on the Premier League.
One thing that will work in Daniel Farke’s favour, though, is that he’s spent time with him in Germany.
