Leeds United can get their own back on Luis Sinisterra deal by signing ‘outstanding’ winger

Daniel Farke still needs a new winger at Leeds United, and the perfect option could be waiting.

The 49ers have made it clear that attacking reinforcements will be signed at Elland Road, but since missing out on Igor Paixao, it’s gone quiet on that front.

There have been recent names that have emerged, with Leeds showing interest in Ben Doak.

But it’s been clear for a while that many wingers have been talked to by the Whites hierarchy.

Now, there should be new talks taking place with a star who has made his intentions very clear, as Leeds can land a major coup.

Leeds United should look to sign Bournemouth’s Dango Ouattara as he explores his options

Farke will be hoping to acquire more Premier League experience in the squad after the signing of Sean Longstaff.

This is where Bournemouth winger Dango Ouattara can come in, as the forward wants to explore his options, according to Sky Sports journalist Mark McAdam.

After shining for the Cherries in the Premier League, it seems that with competition surrounding him with the likes of Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert, his fortunes as a starting player might lie elsewhere.

Leeds will spend £30 million on a striker, and although the Burkina Faso star is traditionally a winger, he can also be used as a number nine, giving Farke two for the price of one.

Ouattara showed he was key to Andoni Iraola’s side last season, as he broke through and showed his excellent quality.

The 23-year-old is a powerful, skilled asset that would immediately add a spark to the Whites’ plans, with Iraola a big fan of his forward.

Speaking after Ouattara scored a hat-trick for the Cherries against Nottingham Forest as seen above, Iraola said in a post-match interview: “He’s shown he can use his qualities in this role and the way he reads the game and gets into scoring positions has been outstanding.”

After 11 goal contributions in the top flight last season, Leeds won’t only be getting a threatening winger but also a goalscorer, which might be reminiscent of a certain winger who went the other way.

Dango Ouattara deal could get Leeds United’s own back on Luis Sinisterra move

With the potential for this move to happen, the 49ers will remember the last time they did business with the South Coast side.

Luis Sinisterra, as many Whites fans will know, forced his way out of Elland Road after Leeds’ previous relegation in the top flight, securing a loan on deadline day of 2023, which frustrated the Peacocks.

His move to Bournemouth was obviously made permanent with Sinisterra wanting to play at the highest level, and he knew in the Championship, he wasn’t going to get that.

But it’s safe to say that since his departure from West Yorkshire, the Colombian hasn’t kicked on.

The Whites gained a £20 million fee, and it seems to have worked out for Farke and the hierarchy.

It became clear that Farke was disappointed to see Sinisterra leave, but the winger made up his mind, and now a similar situation is taking place with Ouattara.

Leeds have their own chance to get revenge with an option that looks to be much better than the 26-year-old, as the tables could turn.
