Daniel Farke was ‘privately disappointed’ to see Luis Sinisterra leave Leeds United on deadline day.
That is according to Phil Hay, who in his latest piece for the Athletic this morning, has provided a round-up on how each of Leeds‘ big summer exits have got on at their new club so far.
Sinisterra was the last of the major exits at Leeds during the window as he made the season-long-loan switch to Bournemouth on deadline day.

In return, Leeds received Jaidon Anthony, also on a loan deal, which Farke was happy to accept due to his better injury record, and experience in the Championship.
However, just hours before that deal materialised, Farke spoke in a press conference that he was confident Sinisterra would stay having hoped the legal dispute over a release clause in his contract was resolved.

Sinisterra had just been welcomed back into the fold at Leeds having missed matches with Birmingham City and West Brom amid the aforementioned dispute.
He did, however, then return to the starting XI at Ipswich Town, in which he netted the fourth goal in a crucial 4-3 win.

His final appearance for Leeds came from the bench in a Carabao Cup penalty shootout defeat at Salford City, which came just 72 hours before his eventual exit.
Angus Kinnear spoke on Sinisterra’s exit after the window closed, stating he was happy to see the back of him due to how desperate he was to leave.
Nevertheless, that did not stop Farke from being disappointed at seeing him Leeds, though he can be happy with the player he received in return.
