Leeds United’s focus is set to switch on improving Daniel Farke’s attack after The Whites agreed a move for Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri, with the defence and midfield sorted out.
Brazilian goalkeeper Perri is expected to arrive at Leeds’ Germany training base today, if he hasn’t done already. The former Botafogo goalkeeper was spotted at Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport earlier on Thursday.
With Perri brought in for a fee of £15.6m, Leeds and Adam Underwood are now expected to look for reinforcements in attack. A new left-winger is likely after Manor Solomon chose to return to Tottenham.
Feyenoord’s Igor Paixao is the man they want, though they are waiting for the result of talks between the Dutch giants and Marseille. A striker is also expected, with Fulham’s £50m-rated Rodrigo Muniz a priority.

Jermaine Pennant suggests £5m Chelsea star for Leeds United
Plenty of other options have been linked with Leeds this summer, and one of those is Chelsea striker Marc Guiu. Interestingly, Leeds were linked with the teenager in January, before Guiu picked up an injury.
Leeds could make two signings up front after Mateo Joseph informed Farke he wants to leave. Joseph has opted to remain in the UK instead of joining his teammates, while Patrick Bamford is not in Farke’s plans.
With Leeds’ quartet of strikers set to be halved, Leeds could look to bring in a main man as well as cover such as Guiu. Jermaine Pennant told the Yorkshire Post the £5m Chelsea signing would be a “good pick”.
“It’s one of the most sought-after positions, it’s hard to get those top-quality players. Marc Guiu seems like a good pick, he’s energetic, he’d work well in a Leeds team. Probably say [Leeds should sign] him.”

Marc Guiu’s numbers at Chelsea show he has huge potential
Last season, Guiu was only afforded three appearances in the Premier League by Enzo Maresca, largely due to Chelsea’s plethora of strikers. But Maresca entrusted the Spaniard in the Conference League.
He made seven appearances in Chelsea’s Conference League-winning campaign, scoring an impressive six goals. That included a hat-trick in a 5-1 win over Irish side Shamrock Rovers, and a brace against Astana.
His hamstring injury prevented him from playing in the second half of the season and in the knockout rounds of the Conference League, but Guiu did make two substitute appearances at the Club World Cup.
