Leeds United manager Daniel Farke now appears to be turning his attention to the goalkeeper position, having signed defenders, midfielders, and a striker so far this summer.
Leeds United’s summer transfer window is shaping up nicely. The last player to arrive was Sean Longstaff, who joins in a £15m deal from Newcastle United, signing a four-year contract at Elland Road.
Next up, it looks like Leeds could sign another midfielder in Anton Stach. Hoffenheim midfielder Stach looks set to arrive at Leeds United in the coming days, having been linked strongly with a move to West Yorkshire throughout the summer.
That leaves Daniel Farke with the goalkeeper position to bolster before the start of the summer transfer window. Illan Meslier looks nailed on to leave Leeds United this summer, but who replaces him remains a mystery.

Senne Lammens latest as Leeds United eye Man United transfer battle
One goalkeeper who seems to be increasingly linked with a move to Elland Road is Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens. Lammens is one of the many goalkeepers who are linked with Leeds United this summer, and reports of Lammens leaving Belgium are increasing as we near the start of the new Premier League season.
However, Leeds United are not alone in their interest of the 23-year-old. Recent reports have revealed how Manchester United are stepping up their interest in Lammens, and subsequent reports coming out of Belgium say that the Red Devils are poised to make a move for Lammens.
Belgian outlet HLN report that an official bid will soon arrive from Manchester United for Lammens, with Antwerp hoping to receive a fee of between €15-20million (£13-17.4million). Interestingly, the same report adds that Lammens has interest from the likes of Galatasaray in Turkey, but that he would prefer a move to a top European league this summer.

Illan Meslier latest at Leeds United
Whilst it’s nailed on, or at least thought so, that Meslier leaves Leeds United this summer. He remains at the club and he played in Leeds United’s recent friendly draw against Manchester United in Stockholm.
The Frenchman looked relatively comfortable in the game, albeit it was a friendly, and after last season’s howlers in the Championship, few Leeds fans would want to see him anywhere near the Premier League team going into next season.
But until another goalkeeper is brought in, Farke may choose to keep Meslier around the squad. Although reports last week revealed how interest in Meslier is starting to heat up, previous reports in this summer revealed how Meslier has interest from Turkey, from the likes of Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce side, though it’s understood that no bid has yet to arrive for Meslier.
However, with Leeds’ own goalkeeper search heating up, with the links to Lammens and the likes of Lyon’s Lucas Perri, who is thought to be Leeds United’s top goalkeeper choice this summer, we could soon see Meslier’s Leeds United future really pulled into question.
