Tottenham star ignites Leeds United transfer rumour with interesting admission on international duty

With Leeds United and Tottenham having plenty of talks in the last transfer window, expect the same in the summer coming up.

Archie Gray is the main name that appears when you involve transfer stories between the two clubs.

Leeds gained a £40m fee for the youngster who has excelled in Ange Postecoglou’s side, as Spurs may have struck a bargain with the 18-year-old.

Martin Keown was shocked at Gray’s price tag but doesn’t come as much of a surprise after his out-of-position performances at Spurs this season.

With Gray being the main name last window, a new name has emerged who has made his feelings clear about playing with a Whites star.

Ben Davies makes interesting admission about Leeds United’s Joe Rodon

It’s no secret that Ben Davies and Joe Rodon have an excellent connection both at Wles and after their time at Tottenham.

Daniel Farke may make a move for the Spurs defender in the summer as Leeds are keen on Davies.

Rodon could certainly play his part in making this move happen, especially as Rodon and Davies are good friends.

Well, what Davies has just said in Wales’ pre-match press conference on Monday gave a big hint to Farke that Davies wants the move to Elland Road.

“We’re very close, when we get the chance to play with eachother we feel really happy,” Davies said.

“Joe’s a terrific player, I think he’s showing how good he is now after getting a run of games at Leeds.”

Leeds could end up signing Davies and Manor Solomon

One name that hasn’t been mentioned regarding his future at Tottenham is Manor Solomon.

It seems as though Leeds have fallen in love with a loan player which every football fan knows is the norm.

Leeds are confident Solomon joins permanently, as Farke could look to secure the Israelian on a deal as soon as possible.

Of course, the Premier League will be a factor, as Davies will have the same stance as Solomon in terms of the Whites having to be in the top flight for a move to happen.

Davies has been a key part of Postecoglou’s plans this season, but that has only been due to Spurs’ injury struggles, as Davies might be keen for the Leeds move once regular starters return.

As long as Leeds gain promotion, there is a very big chance that Farke gets revenge and poaches two players off Tottenham’s books.
