Daniel Farke may be considering some wholesale changes to his Leeds United XI, for the visit of Championship rivals Millwall in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Having gone January without any new signings, the FA Cup is the perfect chance for Daniel Farke to give some of his key Leeds United players a break, and some of his lesser-seen ones a run out.
Likewise for Millwall, Alex Neil has only had eight games in charge and so Saturday’s game at Elland Road is a god opportunity for him to try out some new names.
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Neil was full of praise for Leeds United. The Whites remain top of the Championship table following their 2-0 win at Coventry City in midweek.

Leeds United team and injury news latest ahead of Millwall clash
Thankfully for Farke, the Leeds United injury list is very small right now, with Patrick Bamford the only one set to miss Saturday’s game against Millwall.
But Farke is hoping to have the striker back soon. Providing an injury update on Bamford, Farke told the press on Thursday: “The only player who is not in team training is Patrick. That’s the first step, to return to team training.
“We hope it happens next week. It depends on the final stages of rehab. Definitely not in mix for Saturday.”

Leeds United predicted lineup vs Millwall, Daniel Farke makes nine changes
When Leeds United beat Harrogate Town in the FA Cup third round in January, Farke made several changes, and expect him to do so again with potentially very similar changes to that game.
Karl Darlow will no doubt start in goal whilst the likes of Max Wober and Sam Byram surely start, having been benched for the last couple of outings – Wober hasn’t featured since Leeds beat Hull City at the start of January.
Josuha Guilavogui surely comes into the middle of the park alongside a retuning Ilia Gruev who needs to get more match practice. Then in attack, the likes of Wilfried Gnonto, Largie Ramazani, and Mateo Joseph surely get starts.
Here’s how we think Leeds United will line up against Millwall on Saturday, with kick off at 12:15pm…
Darlow (GK)
Byram
Ampadu
Wober
Schmidt
Gruev
Guilavogui
Ramazani
Aaronson
Gnonto
Joseph
