Leeds United host Millwall in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon, as Daniel Farke’s side look to extend their impressive unbeaten run.
You have to go all the way back to November to find Leeds United’s last defeat. The midweek 2-0 win over Coventry City takes the Whites’ unbeaten run to 14 games in all competitions.
Perhaps most impressive though is the fact that Leeds have recorded six clean sheets in a row. Despite the recent criticism of Illan Meslier, Leeds have proved resolute at the back, with Meslier making some big saves against Coventry.
Millwall appointed Alex Neil at the end of December. He boasts a steady record of four wins, two draws, and two defeats in eight games so far, winning 2-1 at home to London rivals QPR last time out.
In the FA Cup third round in January, Millwall beat Dagenham & Redbridge 3-0 whilst Leeds United beat Harrogate Town 1-0.

Alex Neil full of praise for ‘talented’ Leeds United squad
Speaking ahead of the weekend, Neil has given his verdict on Leeds United, and he’s not shied away in admitting that the Whites under Daniel Farke boast a very strong side right now.
Neil told Southwark News: “You’ve got to give Leeds the respect they deserve. They just went and won 7-0. I know we beat Leeds this season already, but they’re a talented team, there’s no question about it.
“They’re top of the league for a reason. It’s going to be a tough game for us. We’ve got a couple of guys that are cup-tied, so that doesn’t help.
“I think Leeds away is probably the one venue right now across the league that is arguably the toughest. But these types of games in the past Millwall have done particularly well in, so it’ll be an interesting match.”

Leeds United vs Millwall H2H
Leeds have nine more home points than any other Championship team this season, having taken 41 points from a possible 48 at Elland Road. Meanwhile, Millwall sit in 11th place of the away form table with 16 points taken from a possible 42.
Though like Neil says, Millwall beat Leeds United 1-0 at The Den back in November. Leeds won the three outings before that, but the Lions have won four of the last 10 meetings between the two, drawing one.
Under Neil, Millwall are staying competitive in the Championship. But expect both teams to make wholesale changes on Saturday, so it really could be an open game which both sides could easily win or lose.
