Leeds United are hoping to find the perfect option to replace Illan Meslier this summer.
After a series of continued mistakes by Meslier at Leeds, Daniel Farke put his foot down, and Meslier was dropped for Karl Darlow.
This created frustration for an ‘angry’ Meslier, who will more than likely leave the club this window.
With Meslier not settling for being back-up, the 49ers will now need to find the ideal solution to help keep them in the Premier League.
The two options that have caused plenty of debate are Caoimhin Kelleher and Daniel Peretz.

Leeds United look at goalkeeper options to replace Illan Meslier
As the window prepares to be a ruthless time for the Whites squad, Meslier is looking like someone who could easily exit.
This means goalkeeper options will appear on Leeds’ radar, and Kelleher and Peretz are the two who are showing a likely possibility.
Kelleher is open to an exit from Liverpool as the Irishman is keen to embark on his first role as a number one, having been overshadowed by Alisson.
The same can be suggested for Peretz, who has been behind Manuel Neuer in the pecking order, as Peretz is in talks with Leeds.
Both keepers have their attributes, which could improve the Whites, and although Leeds fans prefer Kelleher, this is who Farke should sign.

Who should Leeds sign out of Kelleher and Peretz
With both keepers ultimately not being a number one, Leeds can provide that opportunity as their search for a keeper is clear.
A determining factor for a keeper is their age, as, unlike outfield players, it’s probably better for an older pair of hands between the sticks.
Kelleher takes this one, who is 26 and approaching the prime of his career, whereas Peretz is 24, a year younger than Meslier, who seems inexperienced despite six seasons at Elland Road.
But even though he’s young, Peretz’s attitude is ‘top’, which will be a stark contrast for Farke after Meslier’s fury at being dropped.
What it really comes down to is statistics, and with both having limited game time, for Kelleher, it’s his Premier League season, and Peretz’s numbers for club and country have been taken into account.
| Caoimhin Kelleher | Daniel Peretz | |
| Games played | 10 | 7 |
| Goals conceded | 12 | 12 |
| Clean sheets | 4 | 0 |
| Save percentage % | 69.2% | 56.5% |
| Goals prevented | -0.06 | -0.21 |
| Pass accuracy % | 72.1% | 79.2% |
Now, taking into account game time, the Irishman has had superior minutes, which already hands him the advantage, but Peretz hasn’t exactly done himself any favours.
The alarming factor is zero clean sheets, which Farke will already raise an eyebrow to, and despite Peretz’s passing showing a convincing factor, Kelleher looks to be the better all-around keeper, and having experience in the Premier League goes a long way.
However, judging by Kelleher’s £30m asking price, a deal could be seen as too expensive.
This is where Peretz can then shine, as his £4m arrival at Bayern Munich suggests that Vincent Kompany might let him go on the cheap.
Although it’s clear Kelleher is the better option and should be the keeper Leeds go for, a move for the Israeli wouldn’t be the end of the world.
