Leeds United’s hopes of keeping one of their key players from last season have been dealt a big blow.
The Whites have been fielding an abundance of interest from across Europe in recent days and more exits are likely to follow Glen Kamara’s to Rennes on Tuesday.
Kamara made it player departure number 13 of the summer in sealing his move to France, with Leeds turning a decent little profit on the £5 million they spent on him nearly 12 months ago.
Rasmus Kristensen looks like he will be next out of the door, with a loan move to Eintracht Frankfurt the most likely scenario, amid an agreement on personal terms.
Junior Firpo, Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville are also the subject of interest from sides across some of Europe’s top five divisions.

Romano’s latest update a blow for Leeds keeping Junior Firpo
Real Betis have already signed two players from Leeds this summer in Diego Llorente and Marc Roca, and they are now eyeing a third.
Betis have opened talks over a deal for Firpo to return to the club five years after leaving for Barcelona, though he is not the only left-back on their list.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Sergi Cardona is another who was being looked at Betis, but Fabrizio Romano’s latest update means focus may now all be on Firpo.
Romano has claimed that Cardona has agreed to join Villarreal on a three-year-deal, beating off competition from a host of clubs, one of which is thought to Betis.
As such, this could have repercussions on Leeds’ chances of keeping Firpo, which are starting to look slimmer by the day.
With Firpo also keen on getting the deal done and just 12 months remaining on his contract at Elland Road, it would not be a surprise to see this move quickly now.

Will Leeds offer any resistance to keeping Firpo?
Amid Firpo’s aforementioned contract situation, Leeds are actually reportedly open to letting him go this summer.
This window effectively represents their final chance of getting a fee for him, unless they are prepared to risk losing him for free in 12 months’ time.
However, what his exit does mean is that it is yet another position that will need strengthening for Leeds in the coming weeks.
These player exits are certainly leaving the recruitment team a lot to do when it comes to rebuilding the squad.
