Rennes are reportedly keen on reuniting Crysencio Summerville with former Leeds United teammate Glen Kamara in France.
Kamara officially completed his move to Rennes on Tuesday evening after successfully undergoing a medical at the French side.
According to Fabrizio Romano, a deal of around £8.6 million was agreed between the two clubs and so given the ability to turn around a quick profit, clearly it was an offer Leeds felt was too good to refuse.
But Leeds may well be about to have their resolve tested once again by Rennes as they join the long list of clubs interested in Championship POTS Summerville.
Summerville has reportedly been identified as a potential replacement for highly sought after youngster Desire Doue, who is expected to leave for big money amid interest from Bayern Munich and PSG.

Summerville’s stance on a move to Rennes this summer
Though it would appear no formal offers have yet been made, Summerville is attracting an abundance of interest from across Europe right now.
Rennes are not the only Ligue 1 side to have reportedly registered an interest, with PSG also said to be keen.
Brighton & Hove Albion were reported to have held talks with Leeds last month, while Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United have been mentioned as potential destinations as well.
However, Rennes will be looking to take advantage of the relationship they have built up with Leeds in talks for Kamara by making a move for Summerville.
According to L’Equipe, Summerville is actually ‘not opposed’ to the idea of joining Kamara at Rennes, despite the high level interest elsewhere.
The report from the French outlet has mentioned a potential fee of just £16.8 million for the Dutchman, though that figure is likely to be much higher at the £30 million mark.
Summerville exits feels inevitable as interest grows
Though Leeds are reportedly keen to keep Summerville after Archie Gray’s big money sale, it is beginning to feel more and more inevitable he goes.
Interest seems to be growing by the week in the Dutchman and seeing the likes of Kamara, as well as Wilfried Gnonto and Junior Firpo potentially depart around him, is only going to push him towards an exit.
It has to be said, it does feel as though Summerville could do a lot better than a side who finished mid-table in Ligue 1 last season.
However, if they meet the asking price and he is happy to go there, who are Leeds to argue against his decision.
