Leeds United returned to winning ways on Easter Monday with a late victory over Hull City.
The Whites entered the game in desperate need of three points after watching Leicester City and Ipswich Town both win earlier in the day, and the pressure certainly looked as though it had got to the players.
Sam Byram had given Leeds the lead early on but a subdued performance from then on allowed former January target Fabio Carvalho to make it all square going into the break.
It was not until the 88th minute when Leeds were eventually able to get their noses back in front, as Crysencio Summerville took the game by the scruff of its neck to win and then convert a penalty.
Dan James then put the icing on the cake in stoppage time as he took advantage of the away side’s goalkeeper being up-field for a corner, to sensationally finish from 45 yards.

Having been a few bodies down due to injury and the tight turnaround from the international break clearly in full effect, Leeds were a long way from their best at Elland Road.
Leeds enabled the Tigers to keep comfortable possession for large periods of the first half and that is not necessarily something fans have become accustomed to under Daniel Farke.
In such a pressured situation Leeds were reliant on one of their key men creating a moment of magic in order to drag the team over the line.
As has often been the case this season, it was Summerville who did it as his darting run down the left caused a needless challenge from inside the area from Regan Slater.
Though Joel Piroe had looked set to step up, Summerville then pulled rank and put himself on it, with James then saying after the game the 22-year-old had effectively dragged Leeds to four points over Easter.
Summerville posted on Instagram yesterday afternoon with pictures from across the last two matches, which prompted responses from the likes of Yannick Bolasie, Chelsea’s Carney Chukwuemeka, and Archie Gray.

Summerville was one of just a handful of players who did not go away with their respective country last month, and that has certainly been telling since the return.
Prior to the international period, Summerville had been going through somewhat of a dry spell but has returned with two goals in as many matches since.
The 12-day break has clearly given him enough time to recharge the batteries ready to hit the run-in hard and fire Leeds to promotion.
Watford interim boss Tom Cleverley labelled him as the best player in the league after last week’s 2-2 draw and may just end up being recognised with the official award if he takes Leeds to the Premier League.
