Leeds United fans will love seeing one of their own in Archie Gray excel on the big stage this season.
The hope is there that the Whites and the Leeds academy graduate will meet in the Premier League next season as Daniel Farke’s side edges ever closer to promotion.
Gray has endured an unusual start to life with Tottenham, having played the majority of his games in defence.
But one thing is for sure, Ange Postecoglou loves Gray, and Leeds fans can certainly agree with that.
It almost feels like he never left Elland Road though as Farke has compared Ao Tanaka to Gray, but Tanaka hasn’t proven his ability in the Premier League, unlike Gray who did so against Man City.

Gray has had a commanding challenge at his new club since joining, as Spurs’ injury woes have seen the 18-year-old play at centre-back 18 times this season.
It’s hard to judge the youngster having hardly appeared in midfield, but Spurs fans have judged him in a good way.
Speaking on the former Leeds player, the Tottenham faithful were in awe of Gray’s display against City.

With Gray being out of position for Spurs, the fans can’t wait to see how good he’ll be in midfield let alone defence.
@Wkdjam123 agreed, saying: “I so badly wanna see Archie Gray cement no.6 next season. His composure, pass selection, and off-the-ball is superb. Could absolutely transform that midfield.”
@Joshie10_ summed it up with: “Just get him outta there and into midfield already.”

Gray’s love for Leeds will stay with him forever despite being at Spurs
As a homegrown Leeds boy, it’s hard to say he will lose his love for the Whites.
Gray was spotted watching Leeds vs Sunderland as the talent still finds time to watch his beloved team.
Adding to that Gray’s icon is former Leeds star Luciano Becchio which comes as no surprise after what he did for the Yorkshire side.
Who knows, maybe one day a return will be in the works, but the way Gray is going, his ceiling is much higher than Leeds at the moment.
