Daniel Farke will have plenty of decisions to make with his Leeds United squad if promotion is secured.
It will be a telling few weeks after the international break to see who is eager for promotion to the Premier League.
Leeds have slipped up in recent weeks, but the break coming at this time could prove pivotal to the Whites boss.
With the transfer window taken into account, Leeds target Nico Elvedi is ready to join as Farke may have to offload players to achieve his goal in the top flight.
Tony Cascarino has outed Illan Meslier and Junior Firpo as two who could fall into this category.

Tony Cascarino’s message to Leeds United duo Illan Meslier and Junior Firpo
Much has been made of both of these players’ future at the club.
The Whites number one has been criticised many times during his time at Elland Road as Leeds are looking into replacements for Meslier.
As for Firpo, it’s looking fairly obvious that the 28-year-old won’t be at the club next season with Firpo’s agents confirming a Leeds exit.
Well Cascarino has sent a clear message to the pair on talkSPORT Breakfast with Natalie Sawyer (23/03/25) suggesting that Leeds won’t need these kinds of players.
“You look at Leeds, if they get promoted – will the goalkeeper [Meslier] survive? Probably not,” Cascarino said.
“Will Firpo, and many others at Leeds, will they be Premier League players? That goes [for] any team that gets up – you know that nearly a new team has to come along with that journey.”
Farke will need to sort goalkeeper position at Leeds imminently
It’s been clear now for a while that Leeds have lost trust in their goalkeeper.
Meslier has had howler after howler this campaign, and despite some strong defensive displays, Farke has probably given the Frenchman one too many chances.
This now must be a priority, as although Firpo’s exit will take it’s toll on the Whites, a left-back can take time to find.
The same can’t be said for a no.1, as Leeds could sign Caoimhin Kelleher for £25m which is business that needs to be sorted quickly.
If Meslier can’t do it in the Championship, the 25-year-old has no hope among England’s elite.
