Leeds United are yet to know what their summer will look like and it all depends on whether Daniel Farke can deliver promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season.
Promotion will see Leeds be able to splash the cash. Sales of Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter last summer have put The Whites in a good position when it comes to Financial Fairplay.
Leeds have a brilliant squad for the Championship but will need heavy investment to stand a chance of survival in the Premier League. Phil Hay says Leeds stand a better chance of survival now, with The 49ers.
Leeds are likely to be in the market for a centre-back, a replacement for Junior Firpo, a midfielder, Manor Solomon or a new left-winger, a no.10 and maybe a striker. But also, a replacement for Illan Meslier.

Leeds United fans discuss £25m price tag for Liverpool player
Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has been linked with Leeds. It is believed Kelleher may have now played his last game for Liverpool after the Carabao Cup final loss to Newcastle United at Wembley.
Leeds have been told that Kelleher will cost £25m, a huge fee for a player that has never been a first-choice goalkeeper during his time at Liverpool. At the very best, an adequate back-up for Alisson.
Leeds fans have caught wind of the news that Kelleher would cost a whopping £25m this summer, in a move that would see The 49ers replace Meslier. Many believe it is a deal the club should commit to.
One fan said he “would love it” if Leeds got a deal done for Kelleher. It would be a big change for Leeds, given Meslier has been the club’s no.1 since the latter stages of Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion year in 19-20.
Another described Kelleher as a “proven Premier League goalkeeper” and £25m would be “well worth it”. A supporter simply said “get it done”, with Leeds fans clearly keen to see Meslier replaced if promoted.
“Much better than some of the other options we’re looking at”, said another Leeds supporter. “YES YES YES” was posted on X too, as Leeds fans implored the club to get a deal done for Kelleher this summer.

Caoimhin Kelleher is not the only goalkeeper Leeds want to sign
Leeds are also being linked with Aaron Ramsdale, with the England goalkeeper expected to leave his current side Southampton once again this summer with the Saints pretty nailed-on to be relegated.
Like Kelleher, Ramsdale is likely to cost a big transfer fee given he joined the Saints last summer and will be on a large-ish contract. The former Arsenal man is currently with Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
But before any signings can be properly considered, Leeds need to win promotion to the Premier League and there are doubts about that too – after one win in four. Next up for Leeds, is Swansea on the 29th.
