Daniel Farke has Leeds United in a very good position in the Championship after taking over in the summer.
Farke was appointed by the 49ers due to his track record of getting teams out of the division while also playing an entertaining style of play.
And after a shaky festive period, Leeds have really began to motor since the turn of the New Year having won seven Championship matches in a row, conceding just one goal in the process.
Leeds’ attacking players Crysencio Summerville, Georginio Rutter and Willy Gnonto have looked electric as of late, with defences finding it extremely hard to stop them when they are their best.
Speaking on the latest episode of BBC’s Football Daily Podcast, Jobi McAnuff has hailed the subtle ‘tweaks’ Farke has made to his Leeds side which has contributed to them being a really good watch.
McAnuff hails Farke style of play
He said: “When you look at the depth, yes he has great resources but I just like the tweaks he has made. When you look at style, I love watching Leeds play.
“There is a dynamism to them, an athleticism, a pace that they go and attack games with and they are such a good watch at the moment. They are delivering with the end product as well.”
Leeds have gathered some real momentum as of late and their 4-0 victory at Swansea City was one of, if not the best performance of the season. Some of the attacking play was top quality.
On the same podcast, Danny Cowley says he went to watch Farke in action on the training pitch at Leeds just before Christmas and was left very impressed with what he saw.
Ultimately, though, Leeds still face a real fight to get into that top two due to the quality of the sides around them but hopefully they can continue their recent run of form.
