It is difficult to find a player at Leeds United that is not currently in form, or enjoying their football. Daniel Farke is getting the best out of his squad and continues to do so – in our push for promotion.

The Whites have climbed into second, leapfrogging Southampton. Seven League wins from seven since the turn of the year, and unbeaten in nine – the other two being FA Cup games against Plymouth Argyle.

The defence is working well – six clean sheets in those seven Championship games. The middle of the park has somehow got better without Ethan Ampadu; Ilia Gruev replacing him alongside Glen Kamara.

Deemed a ‘smooth operator’ by Adrian Clarke. In attack, Leeds have been excellent. Cree Summerville has 25 goals and assists, the first player to go above 20 involvements since Patrick Bamford in 20-21.

Willy Gnonto, Patrick Bamford, Georginio Rutter, Joel Piroe and Dan James have all starred. Speaking to the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, Ian Harte picks two Leeds players that have impressed him of late.

“Yeah [I have been impressed]. It’s a Premier League squad. Top end of the pitch, you have Summerville, Gnonto is starting to get back in to the side and scoring goals. Daniel Farke, good experience,” he said.

The two Leeds attackers have been excellent over the last few weeks. Summerville’s tally of 25 goals and assists this season is quite incredible. He’s right up there with the best players in the Championship.

Gnonto has just come back into the side after Dan James’ injury, and impressed – reminding fans that he is a Premier League-level player, not a Championship one. Both will be key over the next 15 matches.
