It’s not even been 24 hours since Leeds United confirmed promotion back to the Premier League and question marks are already being placed alongside Daniel Farke’s future at the club.
Farke told reporters on Monday that if Leeds were to get promoted back to the Premier League prior to Burnley’s win over Sheffield United, then he would be a “fire beast” and first to be dancing on the table.
A sore head for Farke this morning is likely, then. But perhaps even more so if he flicked TalkSPORT on on Monday morning and heard Gabby Agbonlahor trying to force the agenda of Farke being given the boot.
Agbonlahor merely asked the question, given the German’s record in the Premier League with Norwich. What he failed to recognise is that Norwich had no funding under Farke when he got them to the top.

Simon Grayson responds when asked if Daniel Farke gets sacked
Leeds chairman Paraag Marathe heaped praise on Farke in his promotion statement after Leeds’ place in the top tier was confirmed. Having spoke so highly of the German, there seems little chance of a sack.
Simon Grayson appeared on TalkSPORT from Nepal on Tuesday morning (April 22, 7.05AM) and said that he does not think Farke is relieved of his duties, immediately after Leeds were promotion back to the top.
“The owners like Daniel. I know them well, they’ve been very pleased what he’s done over the two years. I’d be very surprised if they make any changes, they will give him a full crack at it and see what happens.”
What Leeds United are expecting to do in the summer window
Farke managed just six wins in 49 Premier League games with Norwich, lasting the entire season after his first promotion but only 11 games the second time around. He was forced to play youngsters at Norwich.
Such was the lack of budget given to try and keep the Canaries up. This time around, Farke will be given cash to spend. Phil Hay believes the presence of RedBull and The 49ers gives Leeds a fighting chance.

The 49ers want six major signings this summer and Adam Pope has warned Leeds that £100m or more will need to be spent. So, mass change is coming in terms of the playing squad – but not the manager.
