Leeds United head to South Yorkshire on Monday night to face Sheffield United. The winner, if there is one, could easily go on to win the title this season.
Leeds United play their second game of the season against Sheffield United on Monday, and Daniel Farke’s side will be hoping for a repeat of their previous meeting at Elland Road.
Back in October, Pascal Struijk and Mateo Joseph scored the goals as Leeds United beat Sheffield United 2-0 in West Yorkshire. But the outcome could easily be different at the Blades’ Bramall Lane home ground.
Chris Wilder’s side have the second best home form in the Championship this season behind Leeds. The Blades have taken 38 points from a possible 48 on the road, whilst Leeds boast he third best away record in the league with 28 points taken from 48.
Though Leeds go into this game in every good nick. There are some real standout players in the side right now including the likes of Dan James and Manor Solomon, though Solomon is uncertain to feature against Sheffield United.

Sam Chambers spotted in Leeds United first-team training
Solomon’s injury may well lead to Sam Chambers‘ inclusion in the side to face Sheffield United. The 17-year-old Chambers shone for Leeds United in their FA Cup defeat against Millwall in January but has just one league appearance to his name this season.
A winger, he could quite easily be in Farke’s thinking for the Sheffield United game should Solomon be unavailable, but maybe more so as a second half substitute. And that idea may have legs given the fact that Chambers has been spotted in Leeds United first-team training ahead of Monday night.
It’d certainly be throwing him in at the deep end. But that’s a tactic that can often work in deciphering just how ready a player is for first-team action.

What Daniel Farke said about Sam Chambers after Leeds United vs Millwall
Against Millwall, Leeds United fans were very impressed by Chambers. He was arguably the Whites’ best player on what was an otherwise dismal day, with the youngster working the flank effectively and providing a creative spark.
And after the game, Farke was full of praise for Chambers who’s been involved with Leeds’ first-team on and off throughout the campaign, often training with the senior players.
Farke said: “A player has to adapt to physicality to Championship side. I liked a lot in training his interesting positions – usually scores 10/10. He has this quality. It was a big day for him and a solid performance. We have a promising young man.”
