Leeds United hosted Millwall in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday, with Daniel Farke handing a full senior debut to 17-year-old Sam Chambers.
Leeds United took a break from league action to welcome Millwall to in the FA Cup. In the third round, Leeds beat Harrogate Town 1-0, but they suffered a 2-0 defeat against Alex Neil’s Lions.
Femi Azeez scored either side of half-time to condemn Daniel Farke’s side to defeat for the first time since the end of November.
Whilst the defeat against Millwall will be a forgettable one for many, for Sam Chambers, it will be arguably his most memorable game.
The 17-year-old academy star made his first start for the Whites after making debut off the bench against Plymouth Argyle earlier in the season.

Leeds United fans think Sam Chambers was ‘class’ vs Millwall
It didn’t take long for Leeds fans to see Chambers’ quality. Fans described him as “lively” and said he was “looking class” against the Lions. One fan added: “Chambers looking like a real talent.”
Another fan posted on X: “Like the look of Chambers, comfortable on ball and looks confident, love seeing young lads get a go.”
Meanwhile, many supporters think Chambers could be an upgrade on certain first-team players, as one fan wrote. “I’ve seen enough. Chambers to replace Aaronson.”

Leeds United’s next five Championship fixtures
Now that the FA Cup is done for Leeds, 100% of focus can turn to the Championship, with Leeds having some really tough fixtures coming up against their promotion rivals.
Up next is a midweek trip to Watford before a game against Sunderland at Elland Road followed by a trip to Sheffield United.
After that, Leeds host West Brom and then head to Portsmouth for a midday kick off on Sunday March 9th.
Games against Watford and Pompey seem like must wins for Farke’s side, who could easily drop some points against tough opponents in the coming weeks.
For Chambers, games against the likes of Sheffield United and Sunderland could be too much. But he’s certainly shown enough to put himself in league contention going into the summer.
