Leeds United will step up their preparations for the 2025-26 Premier League campaign when they begin their pre-season friendlies this week.

It feels like hardly any time has passed since Leeds United were celebrating their Championship title triumph after Manor Solomon secured 100 points in the final moments against Plymouth Argyle.

But now the celebrations are in the rear-view mirror and Daniel Farke’s side will return to the field on Saturday for their first pre-season fixture.

It could be a new-look Leeds side, with four new signings in Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw all looking to make a strong first impression.

Here’s where Leeds will be playing in pre-season this summer.

Where Leeds United will be playing in pre-season 2025

We only know of three pre-season fixtures Leeds will play for definite this summer, with their pre-season campaign getting underway against Manchester United on Saturday, July 19.

Leeds will take on their old foes in the Swedish capital of Stockholm at the 50,000 seater Strawberry Arena, the first of two stadiums bigger than Elland Road the Whites will play in during pre-season.

Farke’s squad will then return to Germany for pre-season training and will once again play fixtures behind closed doors, with the date, venue and even opponents remaining a closely guarded secret.

That’s because Leeds have not been granted permits to play the games in front of fans by the German authorities.

They played Hanover and Schalke last season and a similar calibre of opposition can be expected this time.

Leeds will return home to take on Spanish outfit Villarreal on August 2nd, but that won’t be their final pre-season friendly, as is typical.

After that, Leeds will head to Dublin to face Italian giants AC Milan in the Aviva Stadium, which has a capacity of 51,700.

Leeds will then wait over a week for their Premier League season to start against Everton on Monday, August 18.

How many tickets have Leeds sold in pre-season

Only a handful of tickets remain available in the blocks allocated to Leeds for the game against Man Utd in Sweden.

However, there are still loads of seats up for grabs in neutral areas of the stadium if you’d like to head out to Stockholm for the game.

Tickets in the West Stand aren’t available for the home game with Villarreal, and eight additional sections are sold out, but plenty of tickets remain up for sale.

It’s still possible to get tickets for the match in Ireland, but the lowest tickets now available are priced at £53.67.
