One Leeds United star came in for high praise from Kris Boyd in Leeds United’s victory over Wolves, especially for his role in Anton Stach’s sublime goal.
Leeds United picked up a massive three points in the quest for Premier League survival on Saturday, defeating relegation rivals Wolves 3-1 at Molineux.
Wolves actually took the lead after just eight minutes as it initially looked like another frustrating day was in store, but Daniel Farke’s side showed class and resilience in their comeback.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened his Leeds account with a towering header, before a stunning Anton Stach free-kick and tidy Noah Okafor finish completed the turnaround.
It was promising for Leeds to see three summer signings all get their first goals for the club, with Calvert-Lewin putting in a particularly encouraging performance.
Sky Sports pundit Kris Boyd was left impressed by the striker.

Kris Boyd left massively impressed by Dominic Calvert-Lewin in Wolves win
It took Calvert-Lewin a bit of time to get going against Wolves, with the striker failing to anticipate some dangerous balls into the box.
But he soon started leading the line brilliantly, bringing a real presence and bite to a front line already suffering from injuries.
Boyd loved how Calvert-Lewin led the line, especially his header and the way his holdup play won the free-kick for Stach to fire home.
“What a header this is. He just gets enough height on it to get it up and over Jose Sa,” Boyd said on Sky Sports.
“He [Stach] just passes it into the net, but whipped. It’s an unbelievable strike. It gave Jose Sa no chance whatsoever. Calvert-Lewin did really well to win the free-kick.
“Wolves have been better in the second half, as you would expect. They were absolutely dreadful in the first half. Calvert-Lewin has led the line really well for Leeds.”
Noah Okafor finish catches the eye of Kris Boyd
It was also a bright display from Okafor, who got off the mark in a white shirt with a well-taken finish.
The ball was passed straight to Stach by a Wolves player, allowing the German to advance forward and slip through Okafor to slot home.
On the finish, Boyd said: “What a lovely finish it is. Okafor just fired it across Jose Sa. Leeds have been excellent in this first half.”
Aside from his goal, Okafor had more dribbles in the first-half than anyone else in nearly six years in the Premier League.
The Swiss forward also won more duels than anyone else in the opening 45 minutes, so there was hard graft to go with the flair.
A forward willing to work so hard in both directions is going to be crucial if Leeds are to stay up.
