The race is hotting up for Kieffer Moore and Leeds United are one of a number of clubs that could pursue a loan deal in the January window – a player that has a great connection with Dan James.

Moore, 31, is struggling for game time at Bournemouth. A club that Leeds have had plenty of transfer activity over the last few months, with. Tyler Adams, Luis Sinisterra and Jaidon Anthony, for example.

Leeds beat Bournemouth to the signing of Karl Darlow, but then the Cherries got Max Aarons ahead of us. More recently, Leeds are said to be interested in the loan signing of David Brooks from The Vitality.

Now, we are one of a number of clubs aware of Moore’s availability this month. It comes after the target man has managed just seven Premier League outings under Andoni Iraola – not starting a single game.

A player that Joe Rodon has previously said he hates playing against, in training. What is remarkable, is his connection with Leeds star Dan James. We have three Wales stars. Rodon, James, Ethan Ampadu.

Dan James has great connection with Leeds target Kieffer Moore

In a Wales shirt, Moore has clocked up 40 caps for his country and scored 12 goals – a ratio of one goal every two and a half games. Of those 12 goals, Leeds star James has created half, laying on six assists.

He got the assist for Moore’s first goal in a European qualifier against Slovakia back in 2019. Four more over the years, before an assist for Moore’s latest goal, in a 4-0 win vs Gibraltar. Six assisted by James.

Incredible to have half of your international outlay assisted by one man. That may just tempt us to get a deal done, knowing James and Moore’s connection has been proven on the biggest, internaitonal stage.
