Leeds United made 10 new signings in the summer transfer window but fans have decided who is the best of them in an online poll.
Despite the impressive win over Wolves, it’s fair to say that survival will be tough for Leeds United without the differential forward player Daniel Farke craved. Instead, there has been a real emphasis for Leeds on prioritising Premier League physicality in various guises.
| Name | Club signed from | Price | Height | Age |
| Anton Stach | TSG Hoffenheim | £19.9m | 6’4″ | 26 |
| Noah Okafor | AC Milan | £18m | 6’1″ | 25 |
| Lucas Perri | Olympique Lyonnais | £15.6m | 6’6″ | 27 |
| Sean Longstaff | Newcastle United | £15m | 6’2″ | 27 |
| Jaka Bijol | Udinese | £15m | 6’3″ | 26 |
| Gabriel Gudmundsson | Lille OSC | £10m | 5’11” | 26 |
| James Justin | Leicester City | £10m | 6’0″ | 27 |

| Lukas Nmecha | VfL Wolfsburg | Free | 6’1″ | 26 |
| Dominic Calvert-Lewin | Everton | Free | 6’2″ | 28 |
It was a total spend of £108.5 million on 10 new Leeds signings in the end, with every player 5’11” or taller, and every one of them also aged between 25 and 28. But the question remains over who is the best of them?

Gabriel Gudmundsson and Anton Stach named Leeds’ best two signings
Leeds spent less than Sunderland and Burnley on transfers but that doesn’t mean shrewd business hasn’t been done, with a number of new players impressing.
Leeds have scored five goals in all competitions this season, with four coming in the league. Their four league goalscorers are Lukas Nmecha, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach, and Noah Okafor — all of whom are new signings.
Stach is the most-expensive signing, costing £19.9 million from Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim. He has played every minute so far and The Athletic named Stach Leeds’ best signing long before his spectacular free-kick.
James Marshment posed the question regarding the first five games of the season, asking which of the new Leeds players do fans think looks the pick of the summer signings.
Sean Longstaff collected 3.2% of 2500 votes and seven signings collectively secured 0.4% of the vote. Way out in front are Stach and also Swedish left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson.
Gudmundsson may well have scored an own goal but Leeds supporters are loving his performances outside of that. The 52.4% beats Stach’s 44% by some margin.

Stach’s Gudmundsson praise after Leeds beat Wolves 3-1
Stach has praised Gudmundsson following the game against Wolves. The 26-year-old duo have combined well as the left-back and left-sided central midfielder so far.
Stach said: “He has a really good season so far. He’s offensively really good. Defensively he works a lot, he suffers. After the last game everybody came to him and it was unlucky. That’s why you have a team in football.
“You need to be there for him. I think in this case we have a really good structure in the club. Everybody is together. Today he [Gudmundsson] played full of confidence like it never happened,” Stach added.
Despite the club wanting another forward, this duo have shown that they have quality already. Leeds needed more signings like that but fully fit? They can make their mark on this division for the foreseeable.
