A Leeds United player has topped the player ratings in the Premier League for a second consecutive week after an impressive display in the draw against Bournemouth.
Although Daniel Farke and his Leeds side conceded another heartbreaking late Premier League goal, there were plenty of positives to take from the result.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin earned praise from Jermaine Beckford for the way he led the Leeds line, despite missing a handful of chances in the first half.
Leeds left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson was another standout as he was hailed as the signing of the season by fans online after another impressive display at left-back. Joe Rodon was also recognised, being named in Troy Deeney’s Team of the Week.
However, Sean Longstaff was named as the man of the match for Leeds after the game, and his excellent performance has been recognised outside of the club.

Sean Longstaff tops the Premier League ratings
Longstaff has become the second consecutive Leeds player to top the rankings in the SofaScore team of the week, following in the footsteps of Anton Stach, who was recognised for his role in the win over Wolves.
Longstaff was rewarded with an overall rating of 9.3 for his performance in the Leeds midfield against Bournemouth, with only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland matching his score in gameweek six.
The all-action midfielder was also recognised by FotMob, who handed Longstaff a 9.2 rating overall, the joint-second highest rating of the week, alongside Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs and behind Haaland.
However, Longstaff was back in the top spot according to WhoScored.com, who handed the midfielder a near-perfect 9.9 out of 10 as he dominated for Leeds.

Leeds United midfielder overlooked by Jamie Carragher
Despite producing a brilliant performance for Leeds in both attack and defence, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher overlooked him in his team of the week.
Appearing on Monday Night Football, as Leeds’ relegation rivals, West Ham, secured a point against Everton, the pundit snubbed Longstaff.
Carragher named a three-man midfield consisting of Aston Villa’s John McGinn, Sunderland’s Granit Xhaka, and Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton.
There was also no place for Leeds defender Joe Rodon, despite scoring his first Premier League goal to pull Leeds level in the game.
