Regret might begin to seep through for Daniel Farke after his Leeds United decision in January is proving to go against him.

It’s worrying signs for Farke who hopes his Leeds side doesn’t emulate the efforts of last season in only reaching the play-offs.

The international break will be a good time for the Whites manager to cool off and prepare for what is set to be an extraordinary run-in.

During the break though Farke has been hit with good news, as Leeds target Caoimhin Kelleher wants a Liverpool exit.

This could turn out to be a great transfer decision, but one Farke made in January has seemingly come back to bite him.

It’s been clear since his loan exit that Joe Gelhardt could certainly make his time at Hull City a permanent move.

Hull fans are in awe of Gelhardt and Farke might be scratching his head as to why he let the 22-year-old leave on loan once again.

Well it seems like Farke’s matters have only worsened after what the Tigers have just announced surrounding the striker.

Announcing on social media, Gelhardt has been awarded with the club’s player of the month, as the young striker has fired on all cylinders, seriously impressing in the last few months.

Leeds made to look silly as wrong striker has been loaned out

It’s clear Gelhardt seems very happy with Hull and his second loan spell after Sunderland may prove to be the one where he finally exits Leeds.

In January the decision didn’t sit well with Leeds fans but Gelhardt wasn’t happy with his Leeds gametime, meaning he had to do the best thing for his career.

But Farke missed a serious trick, as despite Joel Piroe’s success, Mateo Joseph has seriously lacked in the goalscoring department, and judging by Gelhardt’s impact at Hull compared to Joseph at Leeds, the Whites loaned out the wrong striker.

Since Gelhardt’s move, it’s clear who has flourished and who hasn’t.

It seems like to reignite his career, the Spaniard may need to follow the same suit as Gelhardt in the summer, as Piroe doesn’t look to be going anywhere anytime soon.
