Daniel Farke had been reluctant to lose anyone from his Leeds United squad this month but it would appear that stance has changed.
After the abrupt early termination of Djed Spence’s loan from Tottenham Hotspur, Luke Ayling and Darko Gyabi then followed him with moves to Middlesbrough and Plymouth Argyle respectively.
Farke had informed his squad that no one would be leaving during the current transfer window, but a behind-the-scenes issue with one player means a permanent exit is now likely.
Charlie Cresswell is said to be unhappy with his lack of game time so far this season, with his Dad Richard even confirming as such on Instagram before the FA Cup win at Peterborough United earlier this month.
And now according to Leeds Live, the Whites have rejected several permanent bids for the 21-year-old, one of which from his former loan club Millwall, where he spent last season.
Leeds reject multiple Cresswell offers
Leeds are reportedly set to command a fee of around £5 million for Cresswell, with Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough among other clubs said to be interested in the 21-year-old.
Despite injuries to Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper, Cresswell was not even included on the bench at Cardiff on Saturday, which is likely to be a huge indicator that his future is elsewhere.

Farke says he will not be picking Cresswell for the foreseeable future unless his attitude improves, with the ‘brilliant’ young defender having grown frustrated at his lack of opportunities.
Cresswell has played just one minute of football for Leeds since the end of August and at this stage, it appears best for all parties if he moves on between now and the end of January.
While it may be a disappointment to some fans that Cresswell won’t ever get the chance to shine at Elland Road, from a financial point of view, it will represent pure profit on Leeds’ financial books.
