Leeds United will want to secure the signature of Emi Buendia from Aston Villa as the transfer saga continues.
The latest of the Whites’ pursuit of Buendia was Daniel Farke’s comments over the Argentine’s future.
Farke really rates Buendia but didn’t want to speak on the midfielder who is still contracted to Villa.
The 28-year-old playmaker was on the bench for Villa’s 2-2 draw away at Arsenal with Buendia only emulating 56 minutes from his last five games.
Leeds are still seemingly keen on the midfielder and after a new revelation, have been handed a sufficient boost for his services.

Leeds United target Emi Buendia has ‘goal’ to stay in Europe
Buendia has found his fortunes so far in England during his career, as he could look for a reunion with Farke after their time at Norwich City together.
Leeds had already received a boost when Unai Emery said Buendia could leave but now that boost has heightened.
According to South American Journalist, Eduardo Burgos, Buendia’s ‘goal’ is to stay in Europe.
This comes after interest from River Plate as Villa have not received any approach from the Argentine giants for Buendia.
They have contacted the player’s entourage directly to find out his situation but his agents are in London which gives more of an advantage to Leeds at this moment in time.

Leeds now have a serious advantage in the Buendia race
If this wasn’t seen as a possible chance of Buendia making the move to Elland Road, now it should be considered as one.
Leeds are currently the only European side interested in acquiring Buendia’s services which provides a huge advantage for Farke.
The nimble number 10 could make for a brilliant signing at this stage of the season, adding to Leeds’ pursuit for promotion from the Championship.

After Brenden Aaronson’s rating in Leeds’ win vs Wednesday, Buendia could provide the missing piece to this Leeds side, as they can’t afford any passengers in their starting XI right now.
