Leeds United receive unexpected calls from fans when requesting thoughts on Elland Road plans, and you can’t blame them for taking their chance.
Last night Leeds United posted on X telling fans they have until Friday to add their comments via Leeds City Council’s Planning Portal regarding the enhancement of Elland Road.
The plans have caused a bit of a stir with the Leeds faithful, given the plans to move away supporters into a section of the beloved South Stand.
The plans will also take Elland Road’s capacity from 36,000 to around 53,000. Exciting times you could argue, but Leeds fans took the chance to voice their frustrations about something else entirely… that also has a deadline.

Leeds United fans call out the club’s lack of attacking signings
After Leeds United’s friendly v Villarreal, Daniel Farke called for more attacking reinforcements to allow the club to be fully prepared for the Premier League, and fans have backed him.
One fan said: “Leave the south stand alone and sign some attackers.”
Another said simply: “SIGN. SOME. ATTACKERS.”
Another said: “Don’t ruin the south stand and sign some attackers. Apart from that you’re doing great lads.”

Which attacking players have Leeds been rumoured to be signing?
One player that could answer Farke and fans’ prayers is Leicester City’s Bilal El Khannouss. It’s already been claimed that El Khannouss’ wage demands will not be an issue for Leeds.
The other club with the strongest interest in the player appears to be Crystal Palace who like El Khannouss and see him as a potential Eberechi Eze replacement. However, Leeds are not at a disadvantage for El Khannouss against Palace.
That is in spite of their involvement in European competition this forthcoming season. It’s also been claimed that El Khannouss is very much open to a move to Leeds ahead of yet another meeting with the Whites on Thursday.
Another player Leeds have been pursuing is Rodrigo Muniz, despite a recent speed bump that Serie A outfit Atalanta BC also are eyeing Muniz. The competition is such that Leeds’ top target will not be an easy deal to push during the final 25 days of the window.
Atalanta were said to be pushing harder to sign Muniz, with representatives meeting with Fulham. However, there has been some good news of late.
That is because those talks with the Cottagers have not gone well, with other reports stating Atalanta have been put off by Fulham’s asking price of Muniz.
That doesn’t guarantee that Leeds are favourites now, but Fulham fans are growing increasingly annoyed at the fact Muniz has not signed a new deal and with reports of transfer interest continuing to mount.
