It’s hard to go against Farke after Leeds United secured Premier League promotion, but critics always find a way.
The Leeds boss deserves his plaudits after being slammed at times for his ways.
But the German wants the best for the Whites, as Farke has asked for ‘ambition’ in the Premier League.
Farke’s clearly the right man to take Leeds forward and deserves every chance to give it a shot in the Premier League.
However, the 49ers have picked out what was a ‘criticism’ from this season, which almost let him down.

49ers blame Daniel Farke for Illan Meslier fiasco at Leeds United
One thing that continued to crop up at the club was Farke’s treatment of Illan Meslier.
It just seemed like the Frenchman was undroppable after countless errors, which almost ended up costing Leeds.
If Farke hadn’t dropped Meslier for Karl Darlow, the season could’ve ended on a very sour note.
Luckily he did, and the 49ers would’ve been happy with the decision after what The Athletic have reported.
According to the outlet, after Farke publicly backed Meslier after his howlers in Leeds’ 3-3 draw with Hull City, there was doubt among some members of the club’s hierarchy with the Frenchman.
A source said, if there was one ‘criticism’ of Farke in what have been two very good seasons, it is how long it took him to drop Meslier.

Farke can impress the 49ers with ruthless Meslier action at Leeds
If the Leeds boss wants to prove to the ownership that he has done a U-Turn on his belief in Meslier, he will have no problem sorting out the goalkeeper situation.
Meslier has been protected for far too long now, as the Frenchman might even know his time at Elland Road is over.
| Worst goals prevented in the Championship this season | |
| 19. | Illan Meslier: -2.7 |
| 20. | Freddie Woodman: -3.5 |
| 21. | Thomas Kaminski: -3.9 |
| 22. | James Beadle: -3.9 |
| 23. | Angus Gunn: -7.4 |
It’s become clear that Meslier doesn’t want to be a backup, so there is only one problem-solver, and that involves him finding the exit door.
The 49ers already see Farke long-term, but to get rid of this criticism, he has to be ruthless in the transfer market, and stand on business as Leeds prepare for the difficult task of the Premier League.
