Leeds United are on course to match an impressive Premier League achievement in their clash with Bournemouth as they look to continue their strong start to the season.
Daniel Farke has overseen an impressive start to Leeds’ return to the Premier League, having steered the Whites to seven points from the opening five games.
Leeds also have an impressive home record against Bournemouth, having won all six league meetings between the two sides at Elland Road.
Bournemouth have also started the season well, which has led BBC pundit Chris Sutton to predict they will claim their first-ever win at Leeds.
However, they will have to break down the Whites’ impressive defence to do so, as Leeds look to match a Premier League feat which was last achieved in the 2015/16 season.

Leeds United looking for 10-year Premier League first
Leeds United’s defence has been the cornerstone of their strong start to the Premier League season so far, keeping two clean sheets from five games.
Both of those clean sheets came at home in a win over Everton and a draw with Newcastle, with Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon forming an impressive partnership at the start of the new season.
According to the BBC, if Leeds shut out Bournemouth for a third successive clean sheet, it will be only the third time that a newly-promoted side has started the season with three consecutive clean sheets at home in Premier League history.

The other two teams to manage this were Swansea City in the 2011/12 season and Watford in 2015/16.
Crucially, both Swansea and Watford went on to finish in mid-table, as the Swans ended the season in 11th and Watford climbed to 13th.
Daniel Farke is closing in on Garry Monk’s clean sheet record
Leeds’ impressive defensive record at home stretches back to last season, as Farke has overseen an unbeaten run of 22 games at Elland Road.
Having shut out Newcastle in a 0-0 draw before the international break, Leeds extended their run to four home games without conceding, with the end of the Championship season included.

The last time Leeds enjoyed a longer run without being breached came during the 2016/17 season under Garry Monk, when the Whites kept six consecutive home clean sheets.
Farke will move one step closer to emulating Monk’s success with a third consecutive game without conceding against the Cherries.
