It’s been another season full of rivalry between Chris Wilder and Leeds United.
Fans will be very reminiscent of the 2018/19 season when both sides were battling it out at the top of the tree.
Wilder prevailed, winning promotion in second with Leeds stuck with the playoffs in third, which ultimately lead to that Derby County game.
Despite this taking place six years ago, Wilder is still sending digs at Leeds and you can imagine this will only continue until the end of the season.
Leeds are currently on top this season, but it was Wilder who got the last laugh in 2019.

Wilder brutally mocked Leeds United and Marcelo Bielsa
With Marcelo Bielsa in charge, it was a promising first season for the Argentine at Elland Road.
Of course, it’s known what happened the following season with Leeds winning the Championship, and now Daniel Farke will have to emulate Bielsa’s success this campaign.
However, like Bielsa, Farke has to try and overcome the Sheffield United boss, who hasn’t stopped talking about Leeds.
Wilder said Leeds are wrongly positioned, as no doubt if the Blades miss out on promotion, their two-point deduction will be taken into the frame, but this wasn’t the case in 2019.
Sheffield joined Norwich City with promotion, and during the celebrations, in true Wilder fashion, he aimed a message at Bielsa’s Leeds side.
“We’ve had one defeat in 13 and I’ve got muppets from Leeds talking about the pressure being on us,” Wilder said.
“Bamford and Forshaw and a couple of others saying ‘it’s over to you’ and this, that and the other.
“They got beat seven times since Christmas. We’ve been beaten once. We’ve set it up from Christmas to be in the race, and we’ve steamrolled it.”

Wilder comments on Leeds could come back to bite him
This season has been the first time both sides have met in the same Championship season since the historic campaign of 2018/19.
This means there will be fireworks between the two sides, and you’d imagine Leeds fans will have held onto these comments after so many years, as Wilder is still mocking Leeds fans to this day.
Farke has the chance to make Wilder eat his words, as the off-the-pitch rivalry means as much as the one on it.
Time will tell, and despite Wilder and Farke having respect for each other, you just know either side wants to get something over the other.
