After making the move from Yorkshire in the summer, it was certainly a big step to leave his boyhood club.

It’s not been a glowing season for the 18-year-old who has had to take on the task of playing at centre-back for Spurs instead of his traditional position of midfield.

Nevertheless, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou loves Gray, and he’ll be incredibly proud after what the former Leeds player has just done.

Gray won the Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards on Thursday night, and Leeds fans will be beaming at this accomplishment.

No doubt Daniel Farke sent Gray a heartfelt message, as the Whites boss will miss his former gem.
