Daniel Farke takes on his old employers Norwich City on Wednesday night. Now Leeds United manager, the German is aiming for a third career promotion from the Championship.

Daniel Farke steered Norwich City to two Championship titles during his four-year spell at Carrow Road between 2017 and 2021.

The 48-year-old almost added a third Championship promotion to his CV last time round as well, but for Leeds losing the Championship play-off final to Southampton.

But the Whites go into this next game against Norwich on the back of a much-needed win. Last time out, Leeds United thumped Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 to return to the top of the Championship table.

Meanwhile, the Canaries lost 2-0 against Leeds’ title rivals Sheffield United in their last outing. They currently sit in 11th place of the table with nine wins, nine draws, and nine losses in their opening 27 Championship games of the 2024/25 season.

Sam Parkin shares his Leeds United vs Norwich City score prediction

Speaking on the Championship Check-In, EFL expert and Sky Sports commentator Sam Parkin has shared his prediction for the Leeds United against Norwich City. And Parkin has predicted that Leeds will pick up another convincing win, with even more goals than the last game against Wednesday.

Parkin said: “I’ll go for Leeds to win, at home. Didn’t play brilliantly against Sheffield Wednesday, but obviously had the firepower to put the gloss on the performance and the scoreline late on. I’ll go for even more convincing here in terms of the performance. 4-1 Leeds.”

In October of 2024, Norwich City held Leeds to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road. But the Whites are unbeaten in their last seven against Norwich, beating them in the Championship play-off semi-finals in 2024.

Leeds United’s home record vs Norwich City should excite fans

Leeds have a pretty formidable home record against the Canaries. They’ve lost just one home match against them since 2015 with a record of five wins, one draw and one loss in their last seven games against Norwich at Elland Road.

And the Whites currently boast the best home record in the Championship right now with 35 points taken from 14 home games in 2024/25. Norwich meanwhile are 13th in the away form table, with 13 points taken from 14 away games.

Elsewhere at the top of the Championship, Sunderland host Derby County on Tuesday night, whilst Sheffield United travel to Swansea. Burnley make the long-haul trip down to Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday.
