The rivalry between Chris Wilder and Leeds United is seemingly going down to the wire, but both sides are certainly making it difficult for themselves.
Leeds drew, and Sheffield United lost, and that just sums up the Championship promotion race.
Scott Parker’s Burnley seemed to be the only team that got themselves in order, as the Clarets now lead the race in an extraordinary twist.

Wilder has certainly had his part to play this season, as the Sheffield boss is never far away from a comment on the Whites, as Wilder has shown his mind games on Leeds.
This time around though, the Blades manager has made his Championship promotion prediction, and Leeds fans might not agree with it.

It’s been a long season of ups and downs for the Whites, but fans won’t be able to bear another season in the Championship.
Last season’s heartbreak against Southampton has put an increased amount of pressure on Daniel Farke who is now frustrating Leeds fans.
This isn’t a good sign, as Farke hearing outside noise may seep into the Leeds camp, which is the last thing the German needs.
Wilder is also hoping for a return to the Premier League and has made his view very clear as to how Leeds and Burnley will do as the season ending nears.
Speaking in his post-match press conference to the Oxford United defeat, Wilder said: “There’s not an unbelievable margin for error.
“I think all three teams will go to the end.”
Wilder and Leeds both deserve Premier League football
Even though recency might suggest otherwise, Premier League football is very much deserved for both Wilder and Farke.
Burnley of course, are in this bracket as well, as the unfortunate circumstance is one of these three will compete in the playoffs this season.
The Sheffield boss might feel hard done by as Wilder said Leeds were wrongly positioned when the Whites were top, as he hinted to the Blades losing two points due to financial reasons.
All three sides fully deserve a place in next season’s top flight, but whoever falls into the dreaded playoffs will have their work cut out for them, and if it’s Leeds, history shows it doesn’t end well.
