Piroe was the only player who spoke out after the game and made his feelings abundantly clear on the run-in.
Taking to his Instagram story on Sunday, the Dutch striker wrote: “We still have everything in our own hands.”
Although this doesn’t seem very apparent at the moment, with Burnley and Sheffield still yet to meet, it is certainly correct.
Piroe is someone that needs to improve at Leeds
He’s a brilliant example off the pitch and has been for the most part on the pitch, but Piroe has certainly let his performances drop in recent weeks.
The 25-year-old has been a passenger in recent weeks, and despite his 21 goal contributions this campaign, his form is slipping.
Farke can’t afford this, especially from his main man who can be pivotal in deciding games but can’t repeat games like his Luton display.
