Sheffield United defender Ben Mee has praised Leeds United’s summer recruitment after the Whites claimed another valuable Premier League point.
Leeds endured a frustrating transfer window in the summer, as Daniel Farke was left short on options in attack.
However, Leeds were able to bring in 10 new signings in the transfer window, as they built from the back when strengthening their squad.
Those signings are beginning to come to the fore for Leeds as the season progresses, as Dominic Calvert-Lewin continued his prolific goalscoring run against the Bees.
Now, Mee has praised another one of Leeds’ new recruits, singling out Anton Stach for his performance in the Leeds midfield against Brentford.

Ben Mee praises new Leeds United signing Anton Stach
Speaking to Sky Sports at full-time of Leeds’ battling draw against Brentford, Mee singled out Stach for his display in the heart of the Whites’ midfield.
According to Mee, Stach is a “strong and powerful” player and helped lay the platform for his side’s performance, alongside his fellow new signings.
Mee said: “You look at some of the new signings, you know, in that midfield there that they played today, obviously Ampadu’s in there.
“Stach’s a really good player, you know, strong and powerful, likes to get forward, took his goal last week really well, he looks a really good player.
“And, they look solid, and three games unbeaten now, getting momentum, a little bit of form, if not performance-wise, but results-wise, which is always important.”

Leeds United need more from Anton Stach in the final third
Although Stach enjoyed a strong performance in most aspects of his game against Brentford, Daniel Farke will want to see more from his midfielder in the final third.
Stach showed exactly what he can do in front of goal against Liverpool, as he fired home from inside the box for Leeds’ second goal, but his radar went awry in West London.

According to FotMob, none of Stach’s six attempted shots hit the target, with five of them being blocked by the Brentford defence.
Stach also connected with just one of his six attempted crosses at the G-Tech Community Stadium, as he endured a frustrating afternoon in the final third.
