Leeds United’s push for promotion takes a breather for the next few days but others on the books at Elland Road have been in action this week, with eight currently out on loan.
Rasmus Kristensen, Jack Harrison, Darko Gyabi and Sam Greenwood are all on season-long loans, while Sonny Perkins turned his loan move to Leyton Orient into a permanent move in the January window.
In the January window, four more left on loan. Joe Gelhardt was in action again for Hull City on Tuesday night, unable to prevent his side from losing 1-0 to Cardiff in Wales while Charlie Crew is at Doncaster.
Below that, Luca Thomas is now at Halifax in the National League after a spell at York City beforehand. Irish midfielder Cian Coleman has rejoined Buxton on loan after returning to Leeds at the start of January.

Leeds talent Coleman in the headlines after bizarre three minutes
Coleman, 20, starred for Buxton during his initial loan between October and January 1. He had a hand in six goals in 12 games, and it saw Coleman win Buxton’s October Player of the Month award this season.
Coleman returned to Leeds in January and scored two goals for the club’s U21 side, but Leeds were open to selling him permanently. However, Coleman made a surprise return to Buxton with bigger clubs keen.
In his fifth outing since returning to Buxton at the end of the January window, Coleman’s loan side faced Hereford on Tuesday night. A 2-1 loss, in which Coleman scored in the 75th minute, but saw red on 78.
Where does Cian Coleman’s future lie with contract expiring?
Like senior trio Junior Firpo, Sam Byram and Josuha Guilavogui, Coleman will see his contract expire in the summer. A player that is now ready for senior football and too old for the 21’s, his future needs sorting.
The Ireland U19 international is unlikely to win a new Leeds deal despite now scoring seven goals for both Buxton and Leeds’ U21 side. The chances are, he will leave on a free and join a new club in the summer.
What division that club are in is up to Coleman this summer. His form at Buxton has caught the eye even if he received two yellows last night, perhaps a League Two side or a National League club will move.
