Thursday’s press conference saw Daniel Farke reiterate that he expects a quiet January transfer window at Leeds United despite the club’s promotion rivals all making early moves.
Sunderland are closing in on the loan signing of Enzo Le Fee from Roma, a coup for Sunderland as Regis Le Bris reunites with his former Lorient midfielder. Le Fee’s move to Sunderland has Leeds fans worried.
Sheffield United are also busy as they close in on the arrivals of Hamza Choudhury and Ben Brereton Diaz while Burnley have two over the line in Oliver Sonne and Turf Moor favourite Ashley Barnes, who returns.
Leeds are yet to do anything other than the potential signing of teenage goalkeeper Robbie Cook on a three-year deal. Farke has made it clear once again that the club are unlikely to make any big moves.

Leeds are open to the permanent exit of midfielder Cian Coleman
However, the Yorkshire Evening Post say Leeds are looking to loan Ireland U19 midfielder Cian Coleman out after his loan with Buxton came to an end and would be willing to green light a permanent exit.
Coleman confirmed his return to Leeds on Tuesday after a brilliant loan with sixth-tier side Buxton. He scored four goals and laid on two assists in 12 games, earning Coleman Buxton’s October POTM award.
Now he’s back at Leeds having starred in the sixth tier and will be looking higher up the footballing pyramid for his next move. The YEP say a loan is likely but Leeds are willing to let him go permanently.

Leeds would lose Coleman permanently in summer, anyway
As things stand, the midfielder is out of contract in June and the chances are, he is not going to be given a new Leeds deal. At 20, he is hardly a youngster now and needs to go out and get first-team football.
Clearly, the National League North is well below his current quality and certainly, way beneath Coleman’s potential given his form at Buxton. It is easy to imagine a club in League Two making a move to sign him.
Whether that occurs in the next few weeks, or clubs play the safer route of signing him on loan before entertaining a permanent deal remains to be seen. But it is clear that Leeds are willing to let him depart.
