In what is set to be a reported busy month for Leeds United they have now completed their first signing in the January transfer window.

Daniel Farke made it clear that Leeds will be quiet in January, but the Whites have already kicked off their business in this window.

Leeds will be reportedly strengthening in many positions this window as Farke has revealed the approach he plans to take.

Judging by Leeds’ first signing this January, it aligns with what Farke is expecting from this window.

Leeds sign Man United target Robbie Cook on three-year deal

Leeds United have reportedly completed their first signing of the January transfer window as 17-year-old goalkeeper Robbie Cook has signed a three-year deal according to The West Australian.

The young Australian originally played for Perth Glory before signing for Leeds after a successful trial at Thorp Arch.

Leeds fended off the likes of Manchester United and Sunderland to complete the deal for the Aussie wonderkid.

The teenage star will likely join Leeds’ successful academy as he looks to develop on what is an already promising career.

Leeds need goalkeeper competition after Illan Meslier horror-show

If you haven’t heard of Illan Meslier’s wrongdoings against Hull City you have been living under a rock.

Meslier faced a large amount of criticism following Leeds’ 3-3 draw with Hull on Saturday and it is seemingly looking like the Frenchman could face the drop.

Daniel Farke made it clear won’t ‘finger point’ towards Meslier as pressure is mounting on the Leeds boss to make a change in net.

If Cook warrants the interest of a club like Manchester United, it could be a real coup for Leeds if the 17-year-old performs well and impresses Farke.

Leeds also have the back-up of Karl Darlow and Alex Cairns, and although he won’t be ready yet, Cook could add competition in the near future if he does show the promise expected in the academy.
